A small art studio and garden storage is the focal point of this backyard. The studio was sited to create a covered courtyard off the kitchen for outdoor dining. Custom siding was designed using off-the-shelf products, and an experimental wall of corrugated polycarbonate with bubble wrap insulation was implemented to test its lighting qualities. A buffet line counter was reused into a bench and integrated planter.
